Nowadays, large hotel complexes are often built in areas where there is virtually nothing around them. Jaz Solaya Resort is different in this respect – just 70 km from the resort lies the historic town of El Quseir. Besides that, there are several other natural attractions and historical sites in the surrounding area, including the town of Abu Simbel, known as the gateway to Black Africa, or Aswan with its two remarkable rock temples.
The hotel price also includes access to an aquapark with slides and water attractions, a mini disco, a fitness center, sauna, tennis courts, and much more. As for accommodation, the rooms are fully equipped with satellite TV, a safe, telephone, balcony, and other amenities. All-inclusive dining is, of course, available.
The resort is located in Coraya Bay, which it shares with four other hotels. However, it has its own section of sandy beach with fine sand and a coral base. Entry into the sea is gradual, either via steps or from a nearby pier. You can also use sea access points at neighboring hotels, but Solaya offers the best location among them.
A beach bar is also available, where you can borrow sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels free of charge.
Excellent services and accommodation, we will definitely come back. Upon our early morning arrival, we immediately received our wristbands and could go for breakfast, and at the same time we were given our room. This has never happened to us anywhere else.

Expect 364 rooms, a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange office, and barrier-free access. The hotel is located about 5 km from the airport. The town center is quite far away—around 60 km. A pleasant advantage is that the hotel is situated directly on the beach.
If you plan to swim in the sea, be sure to bring water shoes. The beach is mostly sandy but also includes pebbles, and sea access is provided via a pier. The underwater world is full of beauty, so if possible, book a course at a diving center. You can refresh yourself at the beach bar. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge. These are also provided by the hotel pool. Guests can enjoy a sun terrace as well as an indoor heated pool. Nature lovers won’t have to go far—well-maintained gardens are part of the hotel grounds.

The hotel is located directly on the beach, about 3 kilometers from the airport. This is great news for those who don’t want to spend a long time traveling to the hotel after their flight. Nearby is the Port Ghalib marina, famous for its wide selection of bars, cafés, and restaurants. You can reach it on foot or take the hotel’s free shuttle bus.
The beach is sandy, but due to the coral seabed, water shoes are recommended. If you want to cross the shallow water more quickly, you can use one of the two piers. Saltwater can also be found in the hotel pool, which stretches through the complex in the shape of a lagoon. In addition, there is a freshwater pool with a separate section for children. Towels, sun loungers, and umbrellas are available free of charge at both the beach and the pool.

Guests can enjoy several swimming pools, including one adults-only pool and two pools designed specifically for children. All pools are heated during the winter season. You certainly won’t be bored at this resort. The Sataya Resort is located about 30 km from the airport, and the same distance separates it from the town center. It lies directly on a sandy beach surrounded by mountains and stunning natural scenery. Be sure to pack water shoes, as access to the sea is complicated by a coral seabed. You can easily reach deeper water via a pier. Guests can also use six swimming pools, two of which are heated during the winter season. Bars are available both on the beach and by the pools. Towels, beach towels, and sun umbrellas are provided free of charge.
If you’re looking for something a bit different, we recommend trying diving at the on-site diving center. Although diving courses come at an extra cost, your stay includes free access to aerobics, fitness, aqua aerobics, beach volleyball, table tennis, and billiards. You can burn off extra energy at the disco or enjoy a relaxing walk through the garden. Both adults and children will appreciate the animation programs and evening entertainment.
The hotel features a main restaurant as well as à la carte restaurants and bars. Dining is included in the All Inclusive program, which covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon snacks. The à la carte restaurant can be used free of charge once per stay.

Despite this, the area is peaceful and perfect for relaxation. Nearby is the Port Ghalib marina, which you can reach for a fee by the hotel shuttle bus. A major highlight for visitors is diving with turtles and dugongs in the nearby Marsa Mubarak Bay.
